Hello Nuno.

It would be nice to be able to "hand-design" the trajectory and movement of some particles by hand, especially single source emitters moving around. I.e a person walking or something like that. Whilst I find the particles generation technology very powerful for creating whole soundscapes and environments, (and it is the only way one can ever achieve complex results especially when hundreds of particles are involved) I still have to resort to DAW mixing for some sources, notably single point using third parties surround panners with automation that sometimes do not sound very good. If users had the possibility of "drawing" the movement of these single point sources over time that would be nice.

What are your thoughts?

Keep up the incredible work!
Yes, I'm considering that for a future version, and even creating a tablet app to allow users to more easily control the movement.
Also, people from Fox made the exact same request.

I think I will increase the priority of this on my TODO list.

Thank you for your feedback.

Fantastic. The tablet App thingy sounds awesome too. I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet w/ a pen and it would be nice to also draw the movements from there. With this feature, SP will become a totally revolutionary product.

I'll let you know if something more comes to mind.

Cheers.

Hello Nuno. I have downloaded the new updates and happy to see that you introduced the hand positioning feature. I think it's pretty nice but I also think that there is more potential here at this point.

It would be nice to complement this feature with a real time Rec Function and a Record Enable (arm track) button that, with a user selectable pre-count time lets you record in real time the movements of single point sources.

I have faked an example on the GUI here (see arrows).

A feature like this would come in handy for using with a Wacom drawing tablet for example. Also, given an initial volume and a max value, this should also take into account the variations in gain.

Let us know your thoughts

Nice... Is on my TODO list...
Hello Nuno. Any news on this feature?
This would really come in handy

Ciao!

Not yet... I'm currently working on some additional VR features, but that will bring the base for the future implementation of this feature.
Hello Nuno. Any news on this? I have some colleagues who would like to see it implemented as well.
We are closer... Do you need it for VR or to regular cinema/TV?
